1. Introduction

AscentOrbit (ascentorbit.space) is a space mission tracking dashboard that provides real-time information about rocket launches, the International Space Station, and space weather. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our service. If you subscribe to push notifications, we store your browser push subscription endpoint and encryption keys solely to deliver launch alerts. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Your Information

Push notification subscriptions are used exclusively to send launch alerts (T-24h, T-1h before launch, and mission results). We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than delivering the service.

4. Data Storage

Push subscription data is stored securely on our servers in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). We do not share this data with third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time using the button on any mission page.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Launch Library 2 (The Space Devs), NASA JPL HORIZONS, wheretheiss.at, and NOAA SWPC. Posts are published to Bluesky and TikTok. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.

6. Cookies

AscentOrbit does not use tracking or analytics cookies. We may use a minimal cookie for language preference only.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of any data we hold. To remove your push subscription, use the button on any mission page. For other requests, contact us at admin@ascentorbit.space.
